Appointments
We appreciate that your time is valuable. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule when making an appointment. You may either request an appointment with the doctor of your choice, or you can be scheduled with the doctor with the first available appointment. We value the importance of continuity of care and will attempt to coordinate follow-up treatment with the same doctor.

Initial consultations
A consultation is generally recommended for non-emergencies, prior to the actual surgical appointment. During the consultation visit you will be examined by one of our doctors and your medical history will be reviewed.

We will provide you with a proposed treatment plan and we will answer all of your questions. You will leave fully informed about your surgical treatment, including alternative options, potential complications, as well as pre and post-operative care. It is our philosophy that being informed about your surgical procedure and becoming familiar with your doctor will help to decrease the normal fear and apprehension associated with a surgical procedure.

Please bring any referral letters, x-rays provided by your dentist and a list of medications you are currently taking as well as information about any medical conditions to your initial appointment. If you need to change your appointment, we would appreciate at least 48 hours notice.

Fees are discussed prior to surgery, and for your convenience, payment plans are available for all procedures. Additionally, we will gladly assist you with the completion of insurance claim forms. Please bring your insurance information to your first appointment. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Note: all patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Anesthesia
We provide our patients a variety of options, including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide analgesia, intravenous sedation, or general anesthesia. The best option for you will depend on many factors such as patient preference, complexity of the surgical procedure and your medical history.
