Meet Mark Park, DMD, MD

Board Certified Oral Surgeon in Bergen County

Mark Park, DMD, MDDr. Park is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was prestigiously recognized as a Dean’s Scholar and as a summa cum laude honors graduate.

Dr. Park then continued his education in medicine where he received his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Park has advanced surgical training in dental implantology with an emphasis on virtual and guided implant placement, orthognathic/ corrective jaw surgery, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and extractions of complex and impacted teeth. His interests include cleft lip and palate, maxillofacial trauma, treatment of pathologic tumors of the facial skeleton, and complex full mouth rehabilitation utilizing the “All-on-4” technique.

Dr. Park served the Smiles International Foundation providing surgical care to underprivileged children with cleft lip and cleft palates. He is published in the journal Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology. He is also an active member of the Osteoscience Foundation, where he underwent intense individualized training in dentoalveolar reconstruction.

Dr. Park maintains hospital and teaching privileges at Hackensack University Medical Center as well as Columbia University/ New York Presbyterian Hospital. And in his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities and is an avid skier, surfer, camper, and loves to fish.
